Introduction:
- This blog is about my experiences while developing and playing a hyper-simplified Roleplaying game with toddlers
- "Toddlers" in this case means a 3-year old and an almost 5-year old (started July 2011)
- Originally inspired by this Wired Article , see also the first post
- As the jesuits say: "Give me a child before he is seven and he will be mine for life"
General:
- The game style is probably closer to a tabletop Wargame than classic D&DGeneral:
- "Learning by doing" works best by a long shot, see first few adventures
- Roleplay, Roleplay, Roleplay - and go with where the kids want to take you
- Use whatever is lying around, toys, furniture, pillows
- Target 20-30 minutes max per session
